Leafield Village Hall, Lower End, Leafield, Witney, Oxon OX29 9QJ
Leafield Village Hall is pleasantly situated on a recreational site with a newly developed children’s playground and skate park as well as a football pitch.
It has a large car park and is off the main road through Leafield, a couple of hundred yards from the church.
It opened in 1996, and is large by village hall standards, since it contains a badminton court. The Hall can accommodate 125 seated and 250 standing. There is a small stage with curtains, folding tables of two different sizes, and stacked chairs.
The Hall benefits from west-facing glass doors opening onto a patio and overlooking the playground and playing field, which makes it a particularly lovely venue for summer events and those bringing in young children. There is a kitchen with a small lounge which has been completely refurbished, with grants in place from WODC, Cottsway, The Doris Field Trust, Leafield Parish Council and Leafield residents. There are no access restrictions for use of the Hall and its facilities. The Hall is licensed for music and the sale of alcohol.

The current Hall Hire Fees are:
General Hall Hire £16 per hour
Groups who pay annually £14.50 per hour
Hire for Youth Groups £ 12 per hour
Kitchen/Lounge Room £ 8 per hour
Deposit – a refundable deposit will be required on booking. The Booking Clerk will advise you what the deposit will be, for your event and you will be required to complete a Booking Form and return this with the deposit, to secure your booking. Your deposit is refunded after your event, subject to your fulfilling the Hire Agreement and leaving the Hall as you found it. If the Hall requires further cleaning after your event, some or all of your deposit will be retained.
Alcohol – if you are selling alcohol at a function, licensing rules apply. Please refer to the booking clerk for further details.
