WODC have produced a leaflet advising what items can be left out kerbside with your recycling wheelie bin.
Your recycling service explained
Small electrical appliances – can be placed in a black box (but not mixed with your glass)
Textiles and shoes – can be placed in a carrier bag and left next to your recycling wheelie bin
Household batteries – can be placed in a used envelope and left on top of your recycling wheelie bin
Cooking oil and engine oil – can be placed in a clearly labelled and sealed PLASTIC bottle, and left next to your recycling wheelie bin (cooking oil and engine oil mustn’t be mixed)
