ELECTION OF DISTRICT COUNCILLOR

for Hailey, Minster Lovell and Leafield Ward

1. NOMINATION PAPERS
   Nomination papers may be obtained from the offices of the Returning Officer, Council Offices, Woodgreen, Witney, Oxon, OX28 1NB on Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.
2. DELIVERY OF NOMINATION PAPERS
   Nomination papers must be delivered to the Returning Officer, at the Electoral Services Office, Council Offices, Woodgreen, Witney, Oxon OX28 1NB, on any date after the date of publication of this notice, on Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm, but not later than 4pm on  Tuesday 4 April 2023.
3. POLL
   Where any election is contested the poll will take place on Thursday 4 May 2023.
4. APPLICATIONS TO REGISTER TO VOTE
   Applications to register to vote must be received by the Electoral Registration Officer no later than 12 midnight on Monday 17 April 2023 if they are to be effective for Thursday 4 May 2023.
5. APPLICATIONS TO VOTE BY POST OR PROXY
   Applications to vote by post, or to vary or cancel existing postal or proxy voting arrangements, must reach the Electoral Registration Officer, by 5pm on Tuesday 18 April 2023.
   Applications to vote by proxy at this election must reach the Electoral Registration Officer by 5pm on Tuesday 25 April 2023.
   Applications to vote by emergency proxy at this election must reach the Electoral Registration Officer by no later than 5pm on Thursday 4 May 2023, telephone the Electoral Services Office (01993) 861410.
   All applications and notices regarding absent voting must be sent to the Electoral Registration Officer, Electoral Services Office, Council Offices, Woodgreen, Witney, Oxon, OX28 1NB.  Application forms for postal and proxy voting are available from that address or visit

6. VOTER AUTHORITY CERTIFICATE
   Applications for a Voter Authority Certificate or an Anonymous Elector’s Document valid for this election must reach the Electoral Registration Officer by 5pm on Tuesday 25 April 2023.  Applications can be made online at https://voter-authority-certificate.service.gov.uk/
